DESCRIPTION:You may have heard improvisers talk about in reverent tones about this mysterious thing called “The Harold” \nWhat is it? How does it work? Why is it called “The Harold” \nNot only will this 6-week course answer all those questions\, but it will turn you into a Harold ninja. It will provide you with the knowledge and skills to perform this classic format\, and at the same time improve your improv scene-work\, boost your confidence\, and arm you with tools to perform any kind of longform improv. Time to take your improv to the next level! \n*spoiler – a Harold is a structure for a longform improvised show\, lasting around 20-30 minutes. DESCRIPTION:Are you a good judge of character? Can you spot a liar\, a cheat\, or a loveable rogue who is trying to deceive you… And everyone else? Then join us and put your detective skills to the test! \nWe’ve invited 5 brilliant improvisers from the UK and beyond to take part in a series of improv challenges live onstage\, set by our delicious and dangerous host Anna Kemp (This is Your Musical\, Real Positive Poles\, Birdwatchers)\, but there’s a twist! \nAt the start of the show\, Anna will secretly choose one of them to be The Saboteur. The other performers work in true improv style – collaboratively and supportively – to put on the best show they can in the hope of winning a place in the final\, while The Saboteur is trying to undermine them – without getting caught! \nEach round of games and scenes directed by Anna will lead to one player being eliminated. Performers judge and vote. Who do they trust the least? At each elimination\, you\, the audience\, also vote to help track down The Saboteur\, and give our faithful improvisers a fighting chance! \nIt’s a reality TV show live on stage\, for fans of whodunnits and Whose Line alike. A dash of The Traitors\, a sprinkle of Game Changer\, and a variety of local and guest improv talent who will have you laughing out loud\, whether you trust them or not…
